This excellent interview with Patti Smith can be found on Criterion's release of DON'T LOOK BACK, the 1967 documentary on Bob Dylan. Smith talks about the first record she heard from Dylan, the first time she saw him in concert and of course her reaction to seeing DON'T LOOK BACK. This thirteen minute interview gives you a great look into Smith's reaction to hearing and seeing Dylan and how the movie influenced her own career. She talks about how the music connected to her and how Dylan became her imaginary boyfriend. If you're a fan of Smith you're going to love getting to hear her thoughts on Dylan and of course if you're a fan of Dylan you're going to enjoy hearing her thoughts on him. This is a very entertaining featurette that gives you a good chance to hear Smith's take on a variety of subjects. One of the highlights comes towards the end when Smith talks about the first time she met Dylan.
