I enjoy most Lifetime movies but this one was one of the worst I have seen. Don't bother.

Really bad.

I have a high tolerance for bad movies but this would have to be the worst film I've ever seen. The storyline might have had some promise but it's clunky and senseless. The script, editing and acting are dreadful. The wig one of the characters wears is clearly cheap and the need for it unclear. There are some laughable moments but usually when it's high drama. This is just awful. So so so awful.

I've seen a lot worse (despite other reviews)

Ok, so the plot had more holes than a lump of Swiss cheese; the stereotypical bad guy/mad doctor with a questionable Eastern European accent; comical fight scenes worthy of silent film comedies; a predictable outcome. It was still a fun watch and kept me entertained - although must admit was more captivated by the character of Serena (Linday Maxwell) who made it a lot more watchable.

As stated in my title, I have seen far worse and it's a fun watch if you don't take it too seriously.

A Predictable Movie, Cliche Ending
kupcr12 June 2020
A convoluted Psychological thriller mess of a movie about two characters named Lucy and Greg, whose marriage is crumbling because Lucy, a lawyer, caught her husband Greg, a history professor, kissing some other woman. They also have friends, James and Serena, who seem unhappy. They Invite Lucy and Greg to an off-grid '2nd Chance Retreat' and there are some good parts. I really like Lindsay Maxwell's character Serena. She's a wonderful actress. I think, though, you should watch this movie completely in hindsight because Lucy's suspicions are correct the first 5 minutes so don't miss one second of this movie or you'll be completely lost. It's not that this film would be better if thinking maybe Beverley Mitchell's Lucy is the Lucy from 7th Heaven and you could tell that the blonde wig looked fake! There's some great scenes and lots of suspense, but the movie can be a little cheesy at times so sit back and enjoy the ride.

I give this movie a 6 out of 10 because Lindsay Maxwell is a great actress and Steve Bacic really sticks with ya in character.
