- Leah accompanies Zac to hospital and Irene lets VJ know what's going on after Hunter is unable to get hold of him. Zac needs surgery on a subdural bleed and Tori orders Nate out when he tries to help. Hunter blasts Leah and VJ for their recent treatment of Zac. Marilyn uses looking after Irene as an excuse to spend the night away from John, who realises she has a problem with him and tries to put things right by giving her her repaired wedding rings. Zac comes through surgery and Tori tries to get Nate to stay in medicine but he tells her she's made that impossible. Leah tells Zac she cares about him but they're better off as friends, then apologises to Irene for slapping her but says she can't forgive her for her lack of support during the custody battle. Zac mentions to Hunter that he broke up with Charlotte at Christmas and Hunter tells VJ Zac might not be his father.—skteosk
- Zac's fall from Leah's roof having caused a serious head injury, the family reassembles worried, Hunter duly blaming Leah for driving his father to despair. Nate wants to help, but Tori must send him out of OR, reduced to explaining to Hunter's family, and the strain on Nate and Tori's relationship grows as she somehow shifts blame on him for his sacrificed career. After successful surgery, Zac and Hunter's hope for a family reconciliation is crushed when Leah wishes a recovery but stands by divorce. Marilyn tries to tell John, who senses a problem, but keeps backing down, while Leah sticks by blaming Irene despite apologizing for the face-slap.
