The short documentary uncovers the background of a critically-acclaimed collection of poems of the same name. Konstantin Kulakov was born in Russia three years before the Soviet collapse, living in England and multiple regions in the US. For him, poetry seeks to 'relate the inner spirituality of his Russian background to the fragmentation of a market-driven New World.' Culled from recordings of poems, news footage, home video, interview footage, the film loosely seeks to illuminate why Kulakov writes poetry, his writing process, and the colorblindness of white poetry.
