During the sequence where the two lead characters encounter each other in line and then wind up sitting next to each other for the flight, Ryan McPartlin is seen wearing two different striped blue ties-even going back-and-forth between the two ties in the same scene.

When the plane takes off from Los Angeles, a view from underneath shows four sets of landing gear, but the very next shot - of the whole aircraft - shows that it only has two sets of landing gear, as it does when it lands.

When Michael and Stephanie enter the jewelry store, the view from outside shows the door has one large rectangle of glass. The view from inside the store shows the door glass is divided into 9 rectangles.

When the couple find themselves stranded in the Bozeman airport they have an argument in front of a sign that says "Gate B23." Bozeman has a population under 40,000. The airport has seven gates.

Though set during Christmas and people are dressed for cold weather and snow is on the ground, during several scenes fully green landscaping and trees can be seen in the background.

At the beginning of the movie, the mother removes hot Christmas cookies from the oven using oven mitts, but the cookies come out already frosted.

The flight originally took off from Los Angeles bound for New York, but was diverted to Montana due to a storm on the eastern seaboard. The plane should have turned back to Los Angeles once flights to New York were cancelled, there is no reason for the plane to be diverted to Montana.

When Stephanie comes out of the bathroom, ready to get into bed, she only has a short robe on over what is assumed pajamas, and you can see her bare legs. The next morning when she wakes up, she still has the short robe on but under it is a gray shirt and pajama pants now.
