When diving at the underwater volcano, Mavis takes a picture of Drac and looks at it. This series has previously established that vampires don't show up in photographs.
In the original Hotel Transylvania, Dracula says that Garlic makes his throat swell, yet it only upset his digestive system.
In The first overhead shot of the Bermuda Triangle, the tower of ships is in the direct middle of the triangle being nowhere near the edges of the waterfalls and nowhere near to be close enough to the cruise ship. As the monsters are boarding, the tower has now shifted close to one of the waterfall edges where the ship has parked.
When Johnnie pulls Drac up and goes into DJ mode, you suddenly see Johnnie's backpack turning into a DJ booth. He wasn't wearing it when they boarded the boat, entered Atlantis, or as they went to the dance party. In fact, that's the first time his "precious backpack" is seen in the entire movie.
In Atlantis, Frank is sitting at a poker table with 5 cards, 4 in the back and one oddly in front of the rest. After the second Hydra head pops up on Frank's right, it goes back down and at just that moment the view panes in a bit close to Frank. His cards are now neatly in a row.
Some of the posters have Dracula and Mavis in direct sunlight, which they would easily burn up in.
Vampires are undead and as such don't need air to breathe (as they no longer draw breath). The scuba gear would be unnecessary. Also children under the age of 16 are not permitted to scuba dive and those over the age of 16 need a scuba qualification.
On the airplane, the gremlin is seen heating a fancy gold-leaf teacup and saucer in a microwave. Gold-leaf plate-ware cannot be microwaved as it contains metal. If the saucer and cup didn't chip or shatter and the microwave completed the cooking process without being destroyed, it would have seriously burned the gremlin pilot's hands.
While underwater, Mavis takes a photograph of Dracula. As a vampire, Dracula's image should never show up in a picture.
Erika says she is the captain, but she is wearing 1st mate epaulets. Captains have 4 bars on them not 3.
The prologue is set in 1897, but the monsters still speak in modern slang ("freak-out," "dial it down a notch," etc.). Their words are probably 'translated' into modern terminology for the benefit of the audience.
Ericka pulls the ax out of Dracs head and in one shot he still has arrows , spikes and such sticking out of him , but in the next shot when Mavis finds them , everything has disappeared .
When the gremlin plane goes under water after falling from the sky, and again when it goes down the waterfall, you can clearly see the passengers after each submerge and they are all dry, despite the plane missing it's roof and most of its sides.
The movie begins in 1897 yet Wayne and Murray are wearing modern style clothing and shoes .
Winnie and Dennis don't get soaked despite Bob / Tinkles slobbering on everything when he is barking at the door .
Wanda's teeth go from being sharp and pointy to straight and blunt , when she and Wayne are talking about doing whatever they want while their children are in the kid's club daycare .
Drac has arrows and spikes sticking out of his head , back and neck and snakes on his arms , but after they land back on the beach after getting Ericka's family heirloom , the arrows and spikes are still in his body , but the snakes have disappeared .
Drac grabs hold of the mechanical fish tail and poses so Mavis can take a picture , how is it that not one single person noticed Ericka's head sticking out the top , considering the fact that for a few seconds , she was very clearly noticeable and everyone except for Drac who was right next to her , was looking right at her .
Van Helsings nails go from being long and pointy to rounded and blunt .
In the first movie during the limbo contest , Blobby appears to have a child , but in this movie he doesn't have a child until he pukes after getting seasick , after which the baby disappears altogether in the rest of the movies and only the jelly dog is seen .
Mavis states that her dad hadn't left the hotel since her mother passed , but she was just an infant when that happened and the hotel had not been built yet , so how could Mavis possibly know when the last time was that her father went anywhere or did anything .
During the end credits animation, a gremlin unplugs a plug from a wall power socket. It is an American style power socket, and not the European style.
Mavis states that Drac hadn't been out of the hotel since her mother passed away , she was a baby when her mother died and the hotel had not yet been built , so how would she know what Drac did back then .
Since Dracula doesn't breathe , it doesn't make any sense to try and crush him to death , it would have made more sense to somehow expose him to sunlight or have Ericka drive a stake through his heart since he was so smitten with her that he would not have seen that coming .
Drac tells Tinkles to speak in the puppy short and Tinkles says something to effect of " How are you doing " , but yet he acts totally surprised when he hears Tinkles speak during the cruise .
The hatch on the submarine is wide open after Ericka ejects , so how did no one notice that , also when Mavis looks at the picture , not only are just Ericka's feet visible , but the hatch is suddenly closed .
In every other movie Drac says "bleh bleh bleh" but in this movie it's always said as "blah blah blah".
When Erika is walking across the deck in her sunflower outfit, her grandfathers head suddenly shoots out a pipe. When Wayne and Wanda accidentally come across the pair, Abraham pulls his arm up out of the pipe and blows tranquilizer darts at the wolves. There's no way Abraham's mechanical body would fit in that pipe, and his arms are too short to actually have been able to pull this off.
