I really enjoyed this documentary. It's nice to see Craig changed his eating habits and eating healthier. It was fun to watch him in Japan. I saw this documentary on FMTV which is food matters. I am a recent subscriber to FMTV. it's really great
I would like to see a follow up to see how he's doing now. Hopefully they'll get him on FMTV for an update as I think it's been three or four years since this documentary. Maybe next time Craig can go to China or Taiwan

They idea is simple, we follow Craig in his journey to a healthier lifestyle (via Japan) but it was perfectly executed. And while it is true that this experience is out of reach to some of us, I think this was not the point. The point was to show that it is possible to change and integrate different, healthy but still tasty dietetary alternatives. It is highly inspirational even if everyone's journey will be different.

This was a wonderful wholesome film. I was entertained and Craig just warms your heart. At times he was unsure or maybe even culture shocked but he remained gentle, fun, personable with an unabashed curiosity. The concept of the film explored not just the foods as just fads or superfoods. I wouldve liked to see some methods of de-stigmatizing foods and using objective works (good food -> nutrient dense, bad food/junk food -> carb dense, high sugar etc). It explored the cultural relationship to food and lifestyle which is very left out of the conversation in the west. Some of the best parts were the family visits, temple visits, the traditional green tea master and the traditional tofu. Id love to watch Craig visit again and get even more immersed in the zen teachings and traditional cuisines!

As a standard teenage white guy with not a clue about diet I was overwhelmed with the food and lifestyle but it didn't take me long to realise just how significant it was to promoting a healthy way of life.
