- RUNNING is a short narrative film which tells a story about a 13 years old girl, SEGUA. SEGUA's desire of attaining greatness in life compels her to fight against her parents who are forcing her into MARRIAGE. SEGUA is to be married to a 56 years old man EGYA MANU. Step FATHER, ATO AMISSAH is bent on making sure SEGUA is married to this rich man in order to redeem the family from poverty. SEGUA, on countless occasions has witnessed the sufferings and torture teenage wives go through in the community. This makes her afraid. SEGUA can't bring herself into accepting marriage at an age where she's still in school and wishes to complete. SEGUA runs away from the house. Her step father angrily orders his two sons to pursue SEGUA and brings her back home at ALL COST. The brothers eventually catch up with SEGUA at a point SEGUA can't run any further.
