- When Greg and Jen slip away for a couples massage, the afternoon doesn't turn out to be as relaxing as they expected. Also, Tim, Heather and the kids have a contest to see who can accumulate the least trash, Colleen asks Matt to illustrate a children's book she is writing, and Jen helps Joan and John with their will.
- John and Joan realizing they don't have a last will yet, Jen offers her services for free, but sibling rivalry rides ever higher, even Greg demanding 'symbolic' payments from the others, who escalate mutual bills and demands, causing parental panic until the attorney diplomatically takes the blame. The kids questioning actual parents-preached commitment to the environment, Heather is easily dared to a competition garbage avoidance, for high stakes: the family vacation - hence ruthless tricks and traitorous plots. Matt is delighted to hear Colleen is getting a children's book published and hesitant to accept when she offers him to illustrate it, guessing rightly their tastes are incompatible, but third parties solve that in the end. Seeing Greg's marriage almost crumbling under baby-stress, Joan offers them a massage voucher (albeit his own gift) for a couple's massage, which proves unexpectedly stressing, yet relaxing.—KGF Vissers
