The Gavin storyline doesn't really catch fire, partly because Nate's not the most interesting character to hang a storyline on, partly because he's yet to do anything to distinguish himself from being a generic repentant former deadbeat dad.Alf and Roo's scenes are okay but don't really advance much in storyline terms and seem to be an excuse to give Georgie Parker a holiday.
Josh's storyline should be interesting, but it's hard to shake the feeling that he'll be fine by the end of the season.Jackson Gallagher's acting saves it, conveying a world of pain with no dialogue.Greg has a nice little cameo and it's good to see Leah and Zac doing some proper parenting with Evie.Chris only being in it to get shouted at by Andy is a waste though.
