Remember this show was an experiment back in the good old days of studios looking what to take chances on. The Mission was a perfect example of animation mixed with live action. This show has fantastic opening titles that really grab you. Same PERFECT theme by John William's from the original. Episode two was a little preachy and pushed some political narratives BUT not to the point of ruining the story. It has a little relationship shocker but I won't spoil that for you. Honestly episode 2 would have been just as good without all of the excessive uses of taking Gods name in vain and stuff like that but hey, I get it.
The profanity, like Picard is completely overdone at times and totally unnecessary to the storytelling. This show is just SUPER. We love it and commend Stevie for bringing it back. :) Episode 1 is an epic starting masterpiece as well as Episode 3's Dyoman.
Overall, it would be wonderful to see the show evolve into something more family friendly without sexually suggestive content. Keep it even more subtle like on a kid Disney level. The bottomline is the hypersexualized gender politics don't make these stories any better.
Anywho, THANK YOU STEVEN AND TEAM PRODUCERS AND WRITERS. I paid subscription to see what comes next!
