Deep insights by Pepe Mujica in a dysfunctional world
guisreis3 October 2022
We do not watch often to political films which say the obvious things that capitalist hegemony does not allow people to think about. This is poetic documentary on the greedy destruction and dysfunctional management that capitalism and global order impose to the word and to humankind itself. Cinematography is beautiful, Pepe Mujica's quotes are brilliant, and interviews with victims of this path in different parts of the world are excellent and meaningful. The police and the military attack people who are trying to live, and that is because, as Mujica says, "private property is put above life", and the whole society is ordered accordingly to it. Also, people do not have time for themselves, because they sell it in order not to starve. This ill world that has no balance and cannot identify the proper priorities is obviously destroying everything and everybody inside it, and the documentary shows it quite well.
