Agent Ike's real name is revealed to be Jason.
Casey's imagined tombstone (shown briefly) reads: "Here Lieth Casey Rooks / who nobody gave a damn about / Sept 7th . 1976 - Any Day Now . 2015"
When Rebecca talks to herself in the mirror it is a nod to a scene with John Travolta in Pulp Fiction (1994) which this episode plays to with the cinematography and story telling.
Title is based on the popular and large-scale public service anti-narcotics campaign started in 1987: "Frying Pan" (a.k.a. "This Is Your Brain on Drugs").
In the opening three minutes, Brian called Ike and asked him to pick up a copy of an album titled "Labyrinth Constellation" by Artificial Brain. While it may sound made up it does actually exist and was released to the public the year before this episode originally aired. And while they don't play any of the music from it in this episode, a few seconds of it is played while Brian and Rebecca are driving in the car two episodes later Stop Me Before I Hug Again (2016).
