- [Jane Doe shows up outside of Agent Weller's home]
- Kurt Weller: Where's your detail?
- Jane Doe: Um, I snuck out.
- Kurt Weller: All right. That is crazy. Their job is to be with you the whole time, to look after you when you get home.
- Jane Doe: I just needed to see you.
- Kurt Weller: Is everything okay?
- [Jane puts her hands around Weller's neck, kissing his lips]
- Jane Doe: I just, um... I wanted a moment that was just... us.
- [Jane holds her hands on Weller's face, kissing his lips again]
- [first lines]
- Patterson: [Agent Patterson talks to Dr. Borden about David's murder] Cause of death, exsanguination from laceration to the jugular vein. So, according to the report, she used a piece of glass from a broken bottle.
- Dr. Borden: Moving away from David's case file for just a moment...
- Patterson: The fact that she used a found object indicates that it wasn't premeditated.
- Dr. Borden: Have you spoken to your family since last night?
- Patterson: Just my mom. She wanted to fly up but I told her that I was okay.
- Dr. Borden: Perhaps you should reconsider?
- [FBI Deputy Director Carter and Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair meet after Guerrero's suspicious murder]
- Bethany Mayfair: You are out of control.
- Thomas Carter: Well, good morning to you, too.
- [Agent Weller and Jane Doe talk in the evidence room about David's death]
- Kurt Weller: [Weller holds both of Jane's arms up] Jane, these tattoo's, they've saved a lot of lives.
- Jane Doe: Not this time. This wasn't some terrorist or criminal that died. It was Patterson's boyfriend. How is she gonna move on from this? I've never lost anyone before. At least, not anyone I can remember.
- Kurt Weller: You're lucky. It takes time.
- [Agent Patterson talks to Jane Doe about how much she loved David]
- Patterson: I just wish I could relive the last few weeks.
- Jane Doe: Hey. You can't think like that.
- Patterson: I mean, David was right. We were... we were great together. And I was just scared.
- Jane Doe: You had no idea any of this was gonna happen.
- Patterson: I wasted so much energy on why it wouldn't work, when I could've been... I loved him. And - And I - He was right in front of me, and I should've just held onto him. Instead, I just pushed him away. And now, he's gone.
- Jane Doe: [Jane holds Patterson to her chest] Here.
- Patterson: [Patterson cries into Jane's shoulder] I don't know how I could've gotten through today without all of you.
- [CIA Deputy Director Carter questions Jane Doe who's tied down to a table]
- Thomas Carter: So that there is clarity in, uh, in this situation, you are hours away from being put on a plane and sent down a dark hole that only I will know about. How open you are in our brief time together can radically affect on how nice that hole is going to be. So, if I were you, I would, um... well, I'd tell the truth. Okay? Understood? So, first things first, who are you?
- Jane Doe: I don't know who I am.
- [last lines]
- Jane Doe: [Oscar walks up to Jane holding up his phone] What is this? Who are you? What is that?
- Jane Doe: [a video begins to play of Jane herself speaking] If you're watching this, the mission is going as planned. You can trust the man who is showing you this video. His name is Oscar, and he is here to help you. I know that you're scared. I know that you're confused. And I know you want to find out who did this to you. The answer is you. The tattoos, the memory wipe, sending you to Kurt Weller. This was all your idea. Your plan. You did this to yourself. You... did this... to yourself.
- [Dr. Borden tells Agent Patterson he's recommending her to take some time off]
- Dr. Borden: I'm going to recommend you take some time.
- Patterson: No, please - Please don't sign that paper. I can't go back to my apartment. Everything there reminds me of him. His... Firefly DVD's, my board games. He didn't pick up the last of his clothes I think because he thought...
- Dr. Borden: Agent Patterson, I just can't...
- Patterson: Please, just... give me one day so I can be here with my team, because I know I that I can help.
- Dr. Borden: One day, then we'll take it from there.
- [Jane Doe attempts to speak to the Russian spy Olivia Delidio in questioning]
- Jane Doe: [in Russian] Let me help you. I know what it feels like to be alone and afraid. I was an orphan, too. The worst thing that can happen is not to have a home.
- Jane Doe: [in English] I know you love your children, and they mean more than any promise you could have made to Russia.
- Olivia Delidio: My... children are my world.
- Jane Doe: Then do the right thing. Tell us everything.
- [Agent Patterson confronts Jane Doe thanking her for catching David's killer]
- Patterson: Thank you.
- Jane Doe: I wish that there was more that I could do.
- Patterson: I thought that if - If I... solved this, and if I found his killer, I would feel, uh... I... But I feel the same. Just... empty. Like solving this didn't change anything. Is that what it's like for you? With the tattoos?
- Patterson: [Jane nods her head yes] That's awful.
