few friends . an accident. and theirs reactions. a film who has two lead virtues : to reflect the air of an age and to be an ironic view about a theme who was too used, in too many ways, by Hollywood. it is one of films who reminds scenes and dialogues and states of characters. and who remains in memory for the wise manner to explore the emotions of children and parents, to use symbols in discreet style and to be almost comfortable because the old larks of childhood become again alive. sure, it is easy to compare it with many other films about same subject. but, more tempting is to enjoy it. like a simple story about few friends and an accident.
