On the weekend of filming all actors moved into the directors family home and stayed there for three days. This was done to build real friendships between the actors, and allowed for easier moments of improvisation when filming.
The script was written after one of the director's friends suddenly died. A week later another friends father passed away. The short film is dedicated to them both.
The song that opens the film is actor George Mackay's band 'Saint Falcons' from when he was 17. When sharing stories of friendship George sent this song in as it represented a time when he was incredibly close with a tight group of friends. The song was used to open the film to further entwine the actors personal friendships into the narrative of the film.
The watch used in the film is actually the director's Grandad's watch which will be inherited at the age of 25.
