Jeroen van Koningsbrugge in Riphagen (2016)

Goofs

Riphagen

Edit

Continuity

In the movie is a shot, a car enters a street and two man come out of the car, where it say in the screen ''May 1945'', but there are leafs on the ground as if its Autumn, in fact the movie was shot in the fall of 2015.

Factual errors

In the death certificate of Riphagen is mentioned as date of birth the 9th of September 1909. That is incorrect. Correct date is the 7th of September 1909.
At 1:30:57 there is an Oktava microphone dated 1957, Russian made, used to interview Riphagen at the end of WWII. This obviously does not match the timing of the interview.
When the resistance group perform the raid on the printing office in The Hague, one of the resistance members wears a SS officers uniform. He presents himself as 'Obersturmbahnführer Kessler'. However, the rank markings on his uniform are that of a SS-Sturmbahnführer.

Anachronisms

For most of the picture, when Jan is not in police uniform, he wields a .45 Colt style automatic. The weapon used in the movie is not a Colt manufacture (likely Belgium) and has modern target sights - not likely to be found on prewar or wartime .45s.
