A rare work by Mykola Yeriomin which does no feature friend and frequent collaborator Mikhail Bondarev and recurring character Askold Tutylopydirskiy. Yeriomin regretted that he had not featured them in some way. It also does not feature Yeriomin himself in a traditional cameo appearance.
Most of the film is in Ukrainian, but a few words and lines are seen in English (on a chalkboard, mini-disc packaging, "Puma" written on hat, copyright notice).
The main title is seen twice: first broken down shot-to-shot and then fully.
Mykola Yeriomin: [communal universes] Newscaster and the Man with the Flag are from Noch' Naprolyot (2011); puppeteer, Mister Shapka (Mr. Hat) and 'Mister Botinok' (Mr. Shoe) are from Zero Sum Game (2012). Additionally characters of Yaroslav Kozak - The Communicator and The Speaker are alternative universe counterparts to Detective from The Prisoners Dilemma (2012) and Village Deputy G.G. Zaporozhets from Noch' Naprolyot (2011).
Mykola Yeriomin: [film within a film, screen within a screen] News, white noise and The Terror (1963).
Mykola Yeriomin: [actors portraying multiple roles] Yaroslav Kozak portrays two characters - The Communicator and The Speaker.
Mykola Yeriomin: [Ukraine] a shot titled "Ukrainian Dimension" contains flag and coat of arms of Ukraine in addition to Ukrainian language being used.
Mykola Yeriomin: [surrealism] surprisingly frequent between the shots, despite that being a presentation film.
