The Buddy Beat was setup by Occupational Therapist Jeanette Allan who with the help of Dr Jane Bentley started a small gathering in Paisley Scotland a drumming workshop that introduced the group to Djembi drums and they quickly garnered success for themselves and upon making Buddy Beat: Keep the Beat our journey in rhythm they won three awards for their short film which has allowed them to be seen by a wider audience, join them and see how they have developed as a group and friendships began..—Drummerboy
Buddy Beat is a drumming group based in the Life Church in Stock Street, Paisley for adults who have mental health issues and was born from a musical social inclusion project at Dykebar Hospital, created by Lead Occupational Therapist Jeanette Allan and Community Musician Dr Jane Bentley.—TBB
