This young couple finds themselves far from the golden shores of the small Sicilian town in which they were raised, and in the BIG CITY.
We first join Tommy and Amanda over a plate of mamma's famous gabagool and italian bread. Plans to purchase and renovate a home are discussed in great lengths as sounds of 'Oh!" "Aye!" and "How ya doins!?" ring out in the kitchen.
The first house the viewer sees is the perfect fit for the couple, however concerns over lack of counter space for various hair care products Tommy has are discussed passionately.
The second house they see is the ranch style home that the couple desires and BADA BOOM BADA BING they make a deal and begin plans for the renovation.
Cut to the next morning and we join the contractor at the couple's new home. Tommy, having never seen a hammer, screwdriver, or any tool before in his life becomes quite confused and begins unsuccessfully combing his hair with a socket wrench.
Tensions boil over later in the day as the contractor mistakenly makes a very noncommittal remark directed to no one in particular. After 4 to 5 minutes of "are you talkin to me?" Tommy gets to the bottom of the comment and all is forgiven.
Tommy finally gets the big screen TV he's always wanted which came just in time for the Jersey Shore reunion. Tommy remarks at how great it's going to be watching Da Bears and Da Hawks in his finished basement on his brand new TV
When the house is finally finished Amanda and Tommy decide to have their entire family over for a party. The family loves the house so much they all decide to move into the basemen where they still reside to this day.
