I think the title "better call Saul" is obviously a nod to Breaking Bad or The Better Call Saul series itself. it's exciting to see great series recognizing one another.

Carrie is out looking for whoever put her name in the kill box, while her boyfriend takes care of Quinn. Allison plotted against Saul.

Another good episode, that's well acted and moves the plot forward

Allison tries to redirect the blame to Saul
Tweekums9 November 2015
Warning: Spoilers
After the events of the previous episode Quinn is seriously injured and in dire need of medical attention; attention he is refusing as it might endanger Carrie. Meanwhile Carrie is trying to find out who wants them dead; the voice on the assassin's phone certainly points to Russian involvement. If she is to discover why she will have to get her hands on the data the hackers stole from the CIA… something that will ultimately force her to reach out to an old friend. Carrie doesn't realise that the person who answered the phone was in fact CIA Station Chief Allison Carr and she is busy making sure that suspicion for the destruction of the Syrian general's plane will fall on her colleague Saul and the Israelis rather than on herself or the Russians.

While this episode doesn't have the action or explosions of the previous instalment it is still gripping. Much of the tension comes from Quinn's part of the story; Rupert Friend does a fine job portraying Quinn as he suffers from the effects of an infected gunshot wound; the way his character tries to protect Carrie is quite harrowing at times when he seeks to end his life. It is interesting that after four and a bit seasons where the main antagonists were Islamic extremists the creators appear to have picked the Russians to be the latest antagonists; a nice throwback to cold war thrillers that has become current again with recent increases in East-West tensions. Allison's attempts to point the blame at Saul and the Israelis added further interest and will no doubt make things interesting in the upcoming episodes even if Quinn's fate is of more immediate concern. Overall another gripping episode that sees the plot getting more convoluted… in a good way.

Good episode

Filled with backstabbing and Quinn willing to die for Carrie, while Ginger boyfriend is getting increasingly annoyed. Even if this is definitely not a romantic series, Quinn's behavior is endearing, albeit slightly excessive, considering that Carrie and him never had a liaison.

Saul is looking much better than in any of the previous seasons, well groomed and wearing sharp suits. Unfortunately, his professional credibility and shrewdness decreased just as much as his looks improved.

Still don't get how it seems so logical to Carrie that the Russians are involved, since they did not appear anywhere previously and her only clue is the female voice that answered the phone speaking Russian.

Homeland now becoming Snoreland

I've been jilted. I started watching this amazing show 5 season ago that on a weekly basis was compelling, intriguing and always left me wanting more. I feel those characteristics are sorely missed in this season, and especially this episode. I feel the writers are scraping the bottom of the creative barrel and threw together a contrived plot that hinged on a pair of hackers, and now they have to fill a season with the repercussions on their actions and the fallout from it. WHo cares?? Where as the previous seasons episodes(with possible exception of Brodys family subplots)always drew its viewers in and left you eager for the next SUndays show, this season just doesn't have that same pull. I now watch from habit, not because I have to see where the last crazy twist will take us, I think the writers have become very lazy and need to be either reinvigorated or replaced.

Perhaps they can recruit in a covert mission the writers of the show they borrowed the title of this episode from, now that is good writing....

I know Paul will disagree with this review:)
