In "The Team", AoS continues to prove that it's a quality show. While I believe the first half of season three was definitely not the best, the second half has wholeheartedly renewed my interest for the show. In what is essentially a cat and mouse episode, Coulson and his team attempt to figure out who Hive has possessed.
For what little time the Secret Warriors have as a team, they make an impression. And a good one at that. The raid on the HYDRA base was entertaining. I have to say that I absolutely loved the more stylistic way Lincoln's powers were demonstrated in this episode.
In fact, while everything in this episode was enjoyable and worked well, I found that Lincoln was easily my favorite thing in this episode. I absolutely hated Lincoln back in season two. However, he's been slowly knocking my favorite characters out of the way, making a spot for himself as my second favorite character on this show.
The reveal towards the end of who is actually infected raises the stakes as season three enters into its final five episodes.
If the second half of this season so far is anything to go by, AoS looks to be in "blue skies from here on out".
