- Rick is shot in the liver, off screen, and blood is seen on his shirt.
- EXTREME graphic violence throughout the entire episode. "Look Who's Purging Now" is undoubtedly the most violent episode of "Rick and Morty". Many innocent villagers are mercilessly slaughtered, and they're shown getting killed in extremely graphic and unpleasant manners. Also, the tone is very dark and bleak, in contrast to the series' comedic tone.
- A lot of villagers are shown killing each other in gruesome fashion, and as such they're shown covered in blood.
- Rick grabs a laser gun and shoots several random villagers coming at him, and the following occurs:
- Another villager is shot, and blood splatters everywhere. We then cut to the villagers killing each other, and they're shown mutilating, injuring and stabbing themselves, with tons of blood around them and the environment.
- Then, Rick throws a device at an attacker, which electrocutes him and he screams before he's turned to bone, and then becomes pulverized.
- Morty pushes a man down the staircase of a lighthouse, breaking his neck and the man's body is shown twitching while lots of blood pool on the surface.
- Morty then continues to ragingly gun more villagers as blood is continuously shed, and when Rick and Morty go to the ship, they find Arthricia, who pleads them both to spare her, which despite Morty wanting to kill her, Rick spares her and electrocutes Morty, and the rampage is eventually headed to a mansion, where an extremely graphic and incredibly brutally violent massacre occurs.
- Morty's armor is donned by Arthricia, and she begins the massacre by brutally decapitating a man, with blood spraying into a fountain and horrifying everyone witnessing this. She then guns down others, obliterating their bodies and spewing massive amounts of blood while Rick, who's carrying an unconscious Morty on his back, looks on intrigued before joining into the carnage.
- Rick then flies and with his feet, he sets two civilians on fire, and we see their bodies burning off graphically.
- In the aftermath, we see the now-destroyed mansion covered in blood and gore, and it's littered with multiple corpses as well. In a very nutshell, the entire episode is full of graphic violence and excessive gore.

- Unlike the rest of the series, which is characterized by its nihilistic sense of humor, this episode has a very dark tone that is a far cry from the show's characteristic black comedy.

Violence & Gore
- After landing his UFO on a villager, Rick crushes him and plenty of blood pools on the ground, and then shoots another villager armed with an axe in the face with his laser gun, sending his body flying with some blood splattering and sending another villager running away in panic.
- While protecting a girl, Arthricia, Rick shoots a villager in the stomach, leaving a gaping hole surrounded with plenty of blood, and blood splatters all over the place. Rick then shoots a female villager in the forehead, with blood shown before shooting another with fatal results, including a huge amount of blood splattered on the ground before telling Morty that this is actually cool, shooting another villager in the forehead, with very bloody results.
- Rick then kills a group of attackers with a shotgun. The following then occurs:
- An attacker is shot in the head. Blood is shown, then a few others get also shot, and there's blood, brains, gore and matter splattered everywhere. We also see Rick stab an attacker in the eye with a spoon, with a lot of blood shown.
- At the climax, Rick and Morty wear Iron Man-like suits of armor, and Rick fires a missile at a group of villagers, sending them flying into the air. Then we see some of their corpses (one shown torn in half, with blood, intestines and organs spilled out, another with his leg bloodily torn off, and two are shown with their bodies mangled) as Rick shoots a few villagers with graphic results.
- When cornered by villagers, Morty gets extremely and uncontrollably angry and goes completely berserk, exploding out of rage and sending some of the villagers flying out, and grabs a panicking one by the neck before gruesomely ripping his head and neck apart, with bone graphically sticking out of his neck and a fountain of blood is seen spraying out. Morty then throws the body away, and guns down the remaining villagers, with large quantities of blood splashing all over the place.
- Arthricia then starts flying into the air and lunges towards another civilian, barreling through his midsection into a spray of gore and tearing his body apart completely in half, with his internal organs shown flying everywhere as we see a huge torrent of blood spraying out. Also, we see two dead bodies with bloody bullet wounds on their heads, and this is shown in extremely graphic detail.
- A decapitated body is shown, with a large pool of blood visible. We also see another victim dead from a bullet wound to the head, and we also see Rick turning his hand into a buzzsaw to gruesomely drill his way through a man's face, leaving a huge gaping hole. The act itself is not seen, but the sound effects clearly describe what's going on as we clearly see huge amounts of blood spraying out and covering Rick's face in blood.
- Another corpse lies on the ground, with no blood this time, but we see Arthricia grabbing two civilians (one male and the other one female) from the arms and brutally slams their heads together with each other, completely destroying them on the impact with massive gory splatters and blood spurting on the area. The camera soon cuts the outside of the mansion, where we see more people panicking and trying to run for their lives.
- Rick throws a civilian against a wall headfirst, completely obliterating his head and we see blood slide and pour down in a large quantity, and Rick soon grabs another by the butt and sends a missile at him, sending him flying and it explodes, obliterating the civilian's body into a shower of gore, then kicks the last villager on the mansion out of a window with the help of Arthricia, and the two are then shown dancing on the mansion.
