The shooting script featured a scene near the end where Lemmy and Marshal Graham have Mabel on the hanging platform. The scene was changed to accommodate a more simple climax and a shorter shooting schedule.
Because of concerns over the COVID pandemic, one actor decided to leave the production early which caused a mid-shoot rewrite. The character was killed off, changing the ending of the film in significant ways.
