When the group leaves Pasadena intending to return home to Boulder, Colorado, they pull over so Elise can throw up and find themselves in South Los Angeles, as Chloe tells the 911 operator. Yet the drive from Pasadena (just north of L.A.) to Boulder would take them due East, nowhere near South L.A.
When the group is walking into a building in L.A. two extras awkwardly stop to avoid walking in front of the camera.
It's hard to believe the hotel would not have redecorated even a little since 1972, so that not only is the paint the same as in the photo taken after Laney Gore committed suicide, but the paintings, lamp and chair are still the same and in the same locations.
