- A struggling music producer sells his soul to a drum machine.
- Music producer Wyatt Banks (Nick Psinakis) has been struggling his whole career, spending countless hours in his cramped, run-down studio lockout tirelessly crafting chorus hooks and beats with the high hopes that a superstar artist will want to take him on.
When Wyatt receives a voicemail from Ben (Michael Thyer), a prominent A&R executive, telling him that his hooks just aren't good enough for the label's artist, Wyatt desperately convinces Ben to give him until the end of the day to turn out that standout track he is looking for.
Following an intense, emotional breakdown in the studio that day, Wyatt is left defeated and without a solid track to deliver to the A&R executive.
Now facing eviction from his studio, Wyatt is forced to sell his current drum sampler at a local pawn shop where something catches his eye... a 1976 Rhythm Ace analog drum machine. Intrigued by the old drum machine, Wyatt strikes a deal with the pawn shop owner (Jerry Hoffman) a deal that will change Wyatt's life forever...
