With only three characters physically present, the result is a tightly-focused episode, yet aside from a couple of moments when you're expecting someone else to come in it works well.Terese, as the wronged partner of this love triangle, is a compelling character:There's an uncontrollable fury about her whenever Brad is around but alone she comes across as quite vulnerable.Brad proves to be a weak man once again while Lauren comes across as quite cowardly in her attempt to cover things up.
It's slightly unsatisfactory that Paul is once more the one to take a spanner to the Willis marriage and some of the set-up is faintly laughable.(A sofa bed?!)The fallout has the potential to be good if the show doesn't try and point the sympathy in the wrong direction: Lauren's offer to Brad seems naive at best.
