A modern morality tale told with meticulous suspense, “The Unknown Girl” is the latest film from Belgian filmmaking brothers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne. Known for realist stories grounded in themes of economic and social justice, the Dardennes play with genre and mystery for their tenth feature. Premiering at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016, where it received mixed reviews, “The Unknown Girl” has been described as “social-realist film noir.” The film released its official U.S. trailer today.

Things didn't end well for Ms. Peabody when Marv got a hold of her in Gotham Season 3 Episode 1, but things turned out much better for Ivy.
It's not that big of a surprise, but it's going to be interesting to see how Selina reacts when she sees the new Ivy.
Even though Fish's powers are making her sick, she won't stop using them. It's scary to think she has a hold on Harvey, but she does, if these photos are any indication. How did he allow himself to get caught in her grasp? Maybe he was trying to capture her for the million bucks and somehow things went wrong?
Will Jim come to the rescue? Or is he too preoccupied with Lee's return? Why is she back, anyway?
Check out the photos from Gotham Season 3 Episode 2, and speculate away!
Gotham airs on Monday, September 26 at 8/7c on Fox!

It was the film that divided critics like none other during Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, and with today’s first trailer for Swiss Army Man, it’s not too difficult to imagine why.
Acting as the directorial debut of Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan – best known for their work in the music industry as the Daniels – A24’s intimate and frankly bonkers drama orbits around Paul Dano’s hapless adventurer who, facing certain death on a far-flung island, is given a new reason to live after stumbling upon a dead Daniel Radcliffe.
Washed up on the beach, Radcliffe’s corpse fast becomes a close companion for Dano’s lead – after dealing with some posthumous flatulence, of course – and crippling starvation even leads to some really rather bizarre and whimsical hallucinations where the recently deceased becomes an animated puppet.
Embracing the ridiculousness of his own situation, Swiss Army Man...

Philippa Boyens is the unsung hero of Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy. While Jackson and, to a lesser extent, Fran Walsh have recognition outside of those three movies, Boyens — an epic Tolkien nerd — does not. But she's the third part of that writing triumvirate, and she's co-written everything Jackson has directed since Fellowship. But it looks like she's spreading her wings and moving on to a solo project.
Deadline reports that Boyens has been hired to write an adaptation of T.A. Barron's The Merlin Saga, a series of books that tell the origin story of the famed Arthurian wizard. Here's the description of the first book from Amazon:
Washed up on the shores of ancient Wales, the boy had no home, no memory and no name...he was determined to find all three.
This best-selling series follows the adventures and training of young Merlin on the mist-shrouded isle of Fincayra,...
