This Belgian sitcom plays like a 1950s to 1970s American style TV show. It's hard to imagine people dressing like that in 2015. It has no real story to it but depends on recurring slapstick humor which is really not that funny. There is a lot of overacting, bad acting, and just generally ridiculous story lines. The premise is based on 4 brothers and their spouses having to live together under the same roof for one year in order to get an inheritance. There are all the stereotypes(the clever brother, the stupid brother, the cunning brother etc), and every type of silly sibling rivalry and prank you can imagine. It becomes tiresome after a couple episodes. If slapstick humor is your thing, then this series may work for you but the humor is very country specific and does not translate well to other cultures. The archaic English used in the subtitles also does not help make it very mainstream or crossover well to other countries and cultures. It seemed to have only lasted 1 season.
