Reese has to figure out how to deal with this case in light of the fact that Beale and the CIA believe him to be dead, yet he is still committed to his work in helping the victim in this and any other case. Meanwhile, the Machine has placed Root in the undercover position of a courier driver. She eventually learns the reason for this job has to do with Samaritan spreading malware for some specific but unknown purpose, with the courier company unwittingly the carrier of the equipment allowing this to happen. In the end, Root and Finch have a fundamental disagreement on how best use their newfound information.—Huggo
