'Elephant' is a film questioning one's perception of the existence (Dasein) in relation to one's identity. There is very limited visual information from three divers sceneries. After a while through increasingly exposed flashes of light, actions are being revealed. The Film conveys the inexpressible nature of an action in a situation, where there is deficit of information. Yet Elephant also deals with an unbearable truth behind the actions. In Elephant the focus is on perception.
