Numerous songs from Essex band "Eddie & the Hot Rods" feature in this film.
The first time actors Ross Boatman and Mark Arden have been reunited on screen together since 1989 (LWT's London's Burning).
Two of the guys in Franks' Gang are named Pat and Tony.
This was in reference to Pat Tate and Tony Tucker who died in the Rettendon murders in 1995, although these are completely different characters.
The "Yank" scenes were all filmed on location in the Essex village Bicknacre. Bicknacre is a neighboring village to Rettendon, where the infamous Range Rover murders took place.
The real Carlton Leach introduces this movie.
Carlton was a close associate with the Essex Boys and is author of the books "Rise of the Footsoldier" & "Muscle".
