Funny and genius.

This is a one great mockumentary over here. Makes fun of original The Room ,but not by trashing on it, but parodying it. So many references and parodies, very clever. If you haven't watched The Room (2003), you won't understand what's this about, but the fans will have a great laugh of this parody/sequel/mockumentary/behind the scenes/whatever tv-series.

If I were in the worse movie ever made, I'd want something out of it.

Warning: Spoilers
I'm not a fan of the room. Although did watch it twice. I'm a fan of the book, the disaster artist. So in a way, I felt like I did know who those actors were.

We do know what happens to Greg Sestero and Tommy Wiseau, thanks to the still ongoing media spotlight, I was curious about the other cast members.

While just a mockumentary, I'm so glad that I found it.

It plays on the thought that the actors were, in fact, the same as the characters they played. And how the room has destroyed their lives afterward. And it will keep you hooked through the witty writing and hilarious performance, you'll have some funny scenes of the drug addict Juliette, who recovers and fall in love with her stalker. Dan Janjigian is playing the ever scary Chris-R, only he's a father now. Robyn Paris, her messy life, and failed marriages. And more you just have to see for yourself.

Granted that some of the jokes won't land very well, other you wouldn't understand if you haven't memorized every scene from the room. But for the most part, the jokes were hits. I did hope to see something sentimental that can get us relate to those characters and not just think of them as punch lines, but as the show still trying to establish itself, we will have to wait and see.

We have some great celebrity cameos like Mindy Sterling, though they leave as fast as they show up. And they make no real impact if it were someone else would do their parts.

I don't know how anyone can pull something like this off with the only 30k budget. Even more so without being legally pursued by Tommy Wiseau. The guy who went after youtube reviewers to take down their videos. You know, the people who are responsible for his fame.

So for a well-made comedy that isn't great, but works very well for what it has, try giving it a try. It's free on youtube, and a must watch for fans of "The Room."

Thx for checking out the series!! As for the Ming and Mike Show - I LOVE those guys so much. But the podcast was LIVE - most podcasts are not. When things are live, stuff goes wrong - like an unexpected echo you have to deal with, which we did. The review by Icarus Alexander about the podcast has nothing to do with the series! The whole "the movie comes full circle" in relation to the Golden Globes doesn't even make sense. Haha (Tommy laugh). But thx for watching,
