Futurist and decadents unite to make a film in Moscow. The year is 1913. The czar is on the way out and the communist are on their way in. It is a very unique time in that artists, poets and other creative types had a real influence on public taste. This short film is based on a real story, and a real film that was lost forever. It also offers a satirical explanation of what may have happened to the original film at the hands of Stalin's regime. There is plenty of substance to this short film, which delivers the punch of a feature. Cabaret 13 is a must see on the festival circuit. The film has not yet had it's premier, so it is fresh and ready to be screened!
