An exciting treatise over the passion of football fans
When you sit to see this movie, you expect to find the history of the football club Belgrano, who is located in Córdoba, Argentina. Then you can discover that behind soccer is the history of the neighborhood Alberdi, its most important events and their inseparable relation to the Belgrano club. But after a while you realize that the true protagonist is passion, in pure state. It is unlikely that the public outside the football has an interest in this film, but is an unfortunate mistake, because the feelings conveyed even go far beyond sports: passion, belonging, loyalty, recognition, fervor, effort, sacrifice. The co-directors Bailo / Faux Marambio define the genre of "Belgrano, a pirate movie" as docu-fiction, since it is basically a documentary with a simple fiction that acts as a thread of the story. But that thread is firm enough to dive into the fervent atmosphere of this story. Unmissable.
