This is "The Gentlemen's Wager", a 6-minute short film from summer last year starring Oscar nominees Jude Law and Giancarlo Giannini, who totally reminded me of his character in the recent Bond films here. The director is Jake Scott, son of Ridley. We see 2 men on a boat talking and drinking. Then the action switches to a wild dance party centered around Law's character and the film ends on the boat again. The ending is kinda open, so maybe they already knew they would make a 2nd film back then. Anyway, there is an 11-minute sequel now, but it does not have an IMDb page yet. But back to the first: I found this little film fairly uninteresting. It is a typical case of style over substance and good that it only runs for 6 minutes. No idea why they made a sequel. These short promo videos have been done by several notable brands in the past, mostly BMW starring Clive Owen as the Driver. Johnnie Walker joins in with this effort here, but it's neither memorable in terms of the action, nor is there really a reference or contents with which I would say this could only be Johnnie Walker. Weak short film, only worth the watch for the biggest fans of Law (or Giannini). Not recommended for everybody else.
