A must-see film. A voir absolument.

I had the chance to see the film in a packed room at La Maison du Cinema in Sherbrooke. The Food Cure is a must-see film if you want to know more not only about cancer and the Gerson diet, but also if you care about your health. Period. Real people, real situations and foremost, real courage. Loved it.

Eye openning and well documented

I really enjoyed watching this documentary. Eventhought I have no history with cancer, I found it to be truly eye openning on how our food habits can impact us. The documentary is well realised, nothing too sensational, perfectly dosed and the research on the subject seams on point.

A must-see documentary

The cancer is impacting a growing number of people. This movie follows 6 people that make a difficult decision, to take an alternative approach to the traditional medical procedures. The movie is well done and I also appreciated that it is not one-sided. It provides a strong message that, facing cancer, you have a choice. Go see it.

A must see for anyone interested in food and health

I expected this film to be just another one of these typical health films like Food Matters, Gamechangers, Cowspiracy and so on, which I like, but they're all kind of similar and mostly based on talking heads that try to convince you to become vegan. This film is really different. It's not so many expert interviews and you watch the experiences of six very different cancer patients from different countries over a REALLY LONG time. They all do a food-based therapy instead of chemo, radiation and all that. Its amazing to watch them over time and see how they react differently, encounter obstacles, and some of them achieve really amazing results, which the cancer docs have difficulty explaining. Even if, like me, you don't have cancer or any major diseases, the film really made me understand what is important to remain healthy. What I like is that the film lets you observe and come to your own conclusions rather than trying to convince you of anything. I am recommending this to everyone I meet. Really a must-see for anyone who cares about health.

stunning!

It is so stunning that we do not know more about this food cure. I feel that people who have cancer are being cheated into not knowing about Dr. Gerson research.

The film is really well done. It explains who is this Dr. Getson and hiw he came about this diet. This film is not only about the personal stories of 6 patients and their struggle to win over this disease, but many experts ( doctors, researchers) are interviewed. There are undeniable facts!

Most importantly, this film explains that the food cure is not a miracle cure. The patients work very very hard to make drastic changes in their diet. So much courage!

A must see movie!

" l wanted to live " ...words from Mary, one of the patients

An ode to the diversity of approaches.

Could Hope and Love also be precious ingredients of this cure ?
