Sharon is not happy, Rob's a bit of an irritation, making noises and smells, she boots him out for a few hours. Rob contacts his friend in the area Dave, who arranges to meet up. Sharon bravely introduces Rob to her brother Fergal and his family. The couple plan a date, she gives him the chance to up an leave, but he decides to stay. Rob calls in Fergal's help to chose the ring. Friday's date arrives and is ruined by Dave, it doesn't stop him proposing.
It's a worthy second episode, we start to see the awkwardness of their relationship, he's quite intense, and she's more casual.
Fergal is an interesting character to put it mildly. Dave is fun too, it's hard to recognise that it's actually the multi versatile Daniel Lapaine. A big well done to the casting team, even managing to cast Tobias Menzies as the unsympathetic Doctor, fortunately he would return.
I love the service they get in the restaurant, it's actually quite true to form. The proposal scene it just hilarious, so wrong. 8/10
