A necessary film to watch about El Salvador

The Room of Bones portraits a rare side of death, humanity, pain, hope, motherhood and loss. The violent recent history of the country and the current situation find each other in a room where nothing maters anymore. In El Salvador death is everywhere and it relates to everyone in a different way. The testimonies of forensic doctors and legal medicine professionals allow us to see a more human side of the violence phenomena that has become part of this country's culture and way of life. This brave documentary is a must if you want to begin to understand how war and conflict can shape an entire country and drive it to the limits of hope.

One of the most amazing but terrifying documentaries about the reality of El Salvador

In my opinion, this documentary reflects the terrifying reality that many families and especially the mothers of enforced disappearance victims.
