The main event was supposed to have been a tag team match with Chris Benoit and Brock Lesnar vs. the Big Show (Paul Wight) and A-Train (Matt Bloom), but it was turned into a singles match when the Full-Blooded Italians (Nunzio (James Maritato)/Chuck Palumbo/Johnny Stamboli (Jon Hugger)) were able to blockade Lesnar in the locker room with a forklift. Big Show won with a chokeslam.
Eddie Guerrero defeated WWE Cruiserweight Champion Matt Hardy in a non-title match. After the match, Team Angle (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) attacked Eddie and Chavo Guerrero Jr. (Chavo Guerrero Jr.) and stole back Kurt Angle's gold medals. Later that night, WWE Tag Team Champions Team Angle defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri and Rikishi (Solofa Fatu Jr.) in a non-title match. After the match, Los Guerreros attacked and again stole the medals and the Kurt Angle poster.
Featured Vince McMahon talking with Hulk Hogan by satellite, and then Hogan showed up in the arena under a mask as "Mr. America," a Charlie Brown from Outta Town gimmick, named from when Jimmy Valiant wrestled under that exact name while denying that he was Valiant.
