Lol, this is something very different then it's predecessor

Well what can we say here, it's good. Especially for being a gay flick.

It has basically nothing to do with the previous movie other then the main actor being the same.

There is a bit of borrowing from another movie at one point which turn out laughable, but overall it's a good watch.

#LGBT horror just took a mighty leap forward

For us, the film marks a step change in the genre. Plot, characters and effects combine to deliver something truly outstanding. There is a rawness, a freshness, a sophistication, and a tension that is rarely seen in short films. Just as much is conveyed in a single gesture than some films manage to deliver in their entirety. The conclusion of the film leaves you with that unsettled feeling in the pit of your stomach - it will never leave you. Masterful performances and editing to match, deliver the goods. If there was ever a case for a sequel, surely it is this one. Jake Robbins as CJ is a powerhouse of talent - amply displayed in this film - and we cannot wait to see him in James Franco's Actors Anonymous.

Scary as...
Coralknight24 November 2016
This scenario delves into the psyche of any young man who has ever ventured out into the unknown for a "hook-up". It's not unique to gay men (though it happens more frequently). Despite the dangers, the "red flags", the fear...the sexual urges always seem to take control. This film mixes these themes into a very surprising plot-twist which leaves the viewer wondering (hoping?) there will be more to the story. Extremely well-written, acted and edited, it's definitely worth a few minutes for anyone who is willing to take a very dark, psychological ride. The production values/quality is so high that I seriously am hoping some backers will take this up as a project...very well worth it.

I didn't like it

Warning: Spoilers
"Tonight It's You" is among the most recent filmmaking efforts by American writer and director Dominic Haxton. It runs for 17 minutes approximately although this includes a great deal of credits too. People keep pushing this one as a defining gay-themed horror (short) film, but I would not really agree. The homosexuality part in the first half added almost nothing to the overall picture and the horror elements felt generic and stereotypical without making an impact at all. The acting wasn't particularly good either. I think that the idea and general plot weren't too bad honestly, but the talent and execution just weren't there for a convincing outcome sadly. It is a pity to be honest as the potential for a better work was certainly there. I also think that this was better than Haxton's "Tonight It's Me", but not by much really. The weakest moment in here was probably the exorcism scene and I felt this one looked really amateurish and for the sake of it. This was when the film wasn't even an atmospheric watch. So personally I give it a big thumbs-down unfortunately. Not recommended at all.
