- When Tina is up for a big hall monitor promotion, she is determined to do whatever it takes to nab the powerful job. So, she enlists the help of Gene and Louise. Meanwhile, back at the restaurant, Linda gets artsy and begins to decorate the walls with customer artwork...on napkins.
- Linda starts a collection of napkin art to display at the restaurant. Tina is a Hall Monitor at Wagstaff Elementary. She aspires to the title of Hall Manatee--only Mr. Frond can convey this honor. Tina is overzealous, annoying most of the other students with rules. Bob is the Botticelli of beef (and Classic Rock) but he yearns to make it to Linda's napkin wall. Zeke gets his 3d strike, Frond asks Tina to transport and Zeke escapes her custody. Tina goes to the only ones she can trust... and exchange blackmail. Upon recapture, Zeke swears he is innocent. Frond calls Tina a "naive wide-eyed tandy-dandy fool." But, Tina understands liars do not always lie and people are not halls (notwithstanding Anthony Michael, Arsenio and partner of John Oates, Daryl). Tina has an epiphany: people are complicated. Mr. Frond throws down the gauntlet. Will "Splash of Cold, Hard Truth in Tina's Face" field trip beget detention...or ice cream? Will Naked Edith ever equal Beets of Burden?—LA-Lawyer
