Libby picks up the feed bag in a hurry to exit the feed store, once outside, the top of the bag is rolled up and the bag has visibly been emptied.

When Libby drops the crate it is shown right side up, but a few seconds later the crate is shown on its side.

It is clearly implied that Aunt Jean has some serious physical problem she is not disclosing to the public, such as when Russ takes her aside and asks in an urgent whisper how she is feeling lately, but this is dropped without further explanation or resolution.

Update: This is inaccurate. It's clearly stated that Aunt Jean has developed arthritis.

There's another scene where it's revealed that Aunt Jean is not disclosing important information to her niece, but that has nothing to do with running the farm and is also ultimately resolved.

When Jean and Libby are sitting on the porch the first night, Jean tells Libby the animals all have jobs, and the dogs protect the chickens from coyotes. Jean mispronounces coyotes. She says "koi-oats", but it's actually pronounced "ki-o-t."
