For the actual shooting of this short feature, the crew ended having only 30 meters of 16mm film to work with, the sudden low supply made it such that precautionary measures involving the calculation of time down to the very last second were put into place in regards to every single remaining sequence all the way to the end so as to finish shot list and thus the telling of the story.
For this reason, upon watching the completed version of a film, one often sees a dark sequence like a fade to black for a length of time, or a dark piece missing from a much larger puzzle in a space which may originally have been reserved for a sequence that in fact was never filmed as if to say that all unnecessary sequences will specifically not be shot in the hopes of laying out the plot as simply as possible. The seemingly empty space this creates ultimately shows the spectator that something belongs there, some action has taken its' course and theoretically should appear but instead of disconcerting it serves the function of an ellipsis, or a jump in time, when viewing the feature as a whole.
