I thought it was beautiful

I wasn't sure what to expect based on the trailer. I thought it might be some no plot, art house, silent film, but it's not at all. Alex, the main character is weird, beautiful, and surprisingly charming. He's so sure of himself and unsure of himself at the same time. He has so many dualities and is such an interesting and different person that I want to know everything about him. I thought the part was beautifully acted as well.

Yes the movie's slow, but I like that and it held my attention and drew me in to the end. The movie could go in so many different directions, it was unpredictable and could even be considered a thriller (for patient people of course).

I will be remembering this movie and am very glad I had a chance to watch it. I hope you enjoy it too.

Art-house bore

Warning: Spoilers
PANOPTICON is a slow-moving, cheaply-made, black-and-white student film about a web voyeur who hacks into his victim's computers and uses their webcams to spy on them. There's no more to the story than that, enough meat to fill maybe 10 minutes of running time, but the viewer is trapped in a style-over-substance production that goes on and on endlessly, dragging out each element until it becomes boring.
