Beautifully shot in a spectacular natural setting, superbly directed and acted. A profound, soul searching story mixing endurance, excitement and empathy.

Warning: Spoilers
A fishing guard working in the Russian Taïga, the Russian pure wilderness, in the deep countryside of ice and forests, a man who has never shown any tenderness towards his daughter, a man who doesn't talk to his wife anymore, this guy suddenly becomes soft heartened when he discovers an abandoned baby in a cabin, just in the middle of the lost country. He rescues the baby and tries to bring him back to civilization, at the risk of his own life. But the baby dies. So, our lead will do his best to find the mother who abandoned her own child. Bring her to justice. But this task will bring him more than that, much more... I have already told you too much about this gripping tale from Russia. Very rewarding story, I promise.
