Throughout the first season, whenever Bosch is portrayed as a child, the child actor appears to have a repaired cleft lip. However, that scar does not show up on Bosch as an adult. These type of surgical repairs are permanent and the scars tend to accompany the individual for life. The actor Stacy Keach is a good example.
