After School Special meets Thailand.. but more engaging...

Astonished to see this film has not been reviewed. Onward.

Would be easy to assign words like cute, warmfuzzy, heartwarming, warming, warm.. It's much more. Yes, themes are pushed, metaphors placed front and center, gentle twists and turns in the plot, character developments easy to pin, goodness and evils clearly defined.

Formulaic I guess. A bit of an After School Special: Thailand. And I say good. Couldn't take your eyes off of some of the characters, the kids and the adults Easily drawn to how it was shot and presented the performers. And the buffalo(s). Simple simple. And lovely. Take the time and begin watching it... and betcha good chance it will hook ya. Two hours I won't get back, and I am very happy for it. Because the film left me... happy. A complete blubbering mess at the end of the singing silent ones. Well done.

And the basketball too.. and finally smiling elder.

I loved this movie, the young Jenny was portrayed the best way she could have been. The casting agents should put her in a Hollywood movie. I have a wall in my room with her face. The actress MATHILDE LORENZON Slayed in this movie. I watched her scenes like 30 times and never got board. I think she would be a great cast in Harry Potter franchise as lily Luna potter. Plus I found out from the web that she can speak 5 languages, English, Thai, French, Spanish and Chinese she also speaks a little German. My my calculations she should be 13 right now, a great age to start an acting career who knows she could be the next zendaya or Taylor swift or even Gigi hadid. I bet if you cast her for another movie when she can show her ture ability to act, the movie will be the next marvel saga.

It was a nice movie This young girl from LA goes to Thailand to visit her relatives. I will say no more. Just watch it.

A warm and highly entertaining film. Once I started watching it I was hooked! Could not take my eyes off of it. Excellent players, great directing, the scenery in Thailand was very interesting. Did not expect the little twist towards the end? I haven't seen a film like this in awhile. I love to watch foreign films and this one was definitely a Winner!!
