Luxembourg. Night. Max, 35, gets a phone call from his soon to be ex-wife. She tells him that they must meet at the hospital the next day because a 'body has been found'. The next day, Max and his wife Anne wait in the corridor for the doctor to arrive. As they wait Max tries to talk to his former wife in hopes of patching things up with her. However Anne is not interested and remains very cold to his attempts. During this scene it is revealed that the body they are to identify is in fact their long missing daughter. As a result from her disappearance almost two years ago their relationship has suffered tremendously and ultimately lead to their separation. Anne also asks about the divorce papers Max still has not signed. The doctor and police finally arrive to show the parents into the morgue.
