Finding Henri!
g-bodyl16 April 2015
This is the third episode of the first season of 12 Monkeys. Once again, we get a great story filled with interesting characters, a good script, and good acting. It takes some effort to keep up with the story at times, and I felt the editing got lazy several times this episode, but I thoroughly enjoyed the episode, which was mostly set in Haiti and we meet a new character named Henri.

In this episode, "Cassandra Complex," James is sent to 2014 where he must find the location of the Night Room, and only Henri might know where it is. James must stay away from Dr. Railly, who is also in Haiti to help stop the spread of a fatal virus.

Overall, this was a good episode even if it does not reach the height of the first two episodes. The episode was mainly focused on Cassandra, and it gave us some insight on who she is. Once again, the Pallid Man returns and is quite creepy. The episode also ended on an interesting note.

My Grade: B+

It is more meaningfull on these pandemic days

THey dont have protections inside tent, even they dont wear masks very well.

I thought it is the pandemic plague that people was having but jules said it was river fever. I dont know it is true but even it was river fewer, why could they die when they were quarantined? I could not get it.

I was wondering 2013-2015 of cassandra and now we saw a small part. It was really bad for her. Knowing future is pain...

ADD ON LATER I just remembered that. Pallid man said he did not know james in haiti in 2014 year. But when 2015, he had said in previous episodes "i remember you from 1985". What does that mean? Pallid man is also timetraveller? HOw cant he remember the person from 1985 in 2013 while can remember in 2015? Am i wrong?

Lack of basic medical science destroys credibility

While the acting is good and the characters and story are interesting, the central plot point of doctors fighting a deadly virus is totally undermined by NONE of those doctors wearing ANY protective gear except a standard medical nose/mouth mask which they take off to talk--not to mention having the female lead,a virologist, walking into the medical tent full of infected, coughing people without even the mask.

I stopped watching. All this running back and forth through time to stop a world-wide plague and the CDC doctors don't take the most basic precautions.

Come on.

Bad episode.

I really love this show. But this episode was really bad. They made all the doctors idiots by the way they were handling the infactants of a supposedly dangerous virus, and they ruined the character of Cassandra completely with her sex action with Henri, which played one of the major factors behind her failure to deliver proper love chemistry with Cole for the rest of the series. I just wish the creators/writers had written the full outline of the series before they made the first season.
